“You Are My Sunshine” – Children’s Song

A classic children’s anthem, “You Are My Sunshine” is a simple song with a handful of chords and a catchy melody. This arrangement contains 3 versions labeled as Melodies: A, B, & C. Think of it as beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

“Wipe Out” – The Surfaris

“Wipe Out” features a memorable guitar hook and drum beat set in a 12 bar blues. Our arrangement was written to emphasize these two aspects. This is a simple and fun arrangement you can get down in an afternoon.

“Hallelujah” – Leonard Cohen

“Hallelujah” is a song originally written by Leonard Cohen, but most famously covered by Jeff Buckley. Our arrangement is based off of Jeff’s interpretation. This piece is purely about emotion and the way notes are articulated. Dynamics play an important role throughout the entire song.

“Bad Moon Rising” – Creedence Clearwater Revival

“Bad Moon Rising” is an upbeat and feel good tune. The rhythm combines aspects of the vocal melody, while keeping true to what the guitar player plays on the record. This is a great tune to work on for strumming practice.

“See You Again” – Wiz Khalifa

My favorite part of this song is the piano melody that plays in the beginning. I brought it to this arrangement by using right hand tapping.
