@frederic
– Fun for you to play, and fun for me to listen to! Great rhythm playing and you nailed the feel/vibe of the piece. Well done! 👏

@johanna2509
– Amazing that you played it so flawlessly after just one day of learning and practice, truly a testament to your musicianship!

@dianna
– Really nicely played, Dianna! Your left-hand work was excellent. For your right hand, I noticed you’re primarily strumming by moving your wrist up and down. Try engaging your forearm more to create the down/up motion, which can help add fluidity to your overall sound.

Matt has a great lesson covering the basics of strumming technique, which talks about this in more detail.

@cimarronsailor
– Beautifully played! 🙂

@ukealori
– Great to see you back, Lori! Performance sounded great! Honestly, it just sounds like a little more practice will smooth out the minor hesitations/transitions. Great work for your first one back!

@bibilele
– You nailed that! Great rhythm, timing, and feel. Bravo! 👏

The only thing I’d work on is the ending lick/riff. It’s a bit syncopated. Try counting and/or singing it, like I do in this video. And you can actually hear that I accidentally sang the very last bar with a slightly diff rhythm. My mistake, but it works! As long as it has that feel that matches the tune. And def try tapping your foot along as you do this 🙂

@yukalele
– Really nicely done David! Melody B is pretty spot on, so I’ll focus my feedback on Melody A. Honestly, the only part I’m hearing that needs attention is the 8-7-5 (pull-off, slide) phrase, those first 2 notes are 16ths. So you wanna play those a little bit quicker. Try looping this section in the tab player and playing along with Evan. Aim to match him as close as possible. That’ll help you get it down.

@anya09
– Very beautifully played!

@karela
– Here is my feedback for you with one playing tip to make your transitions smoother 🙂

@leihali
– Sustain sounded great! You played it beautifully Kay!

@joe150
– Great work this month Joe! Playing sounded excellent!

@dividedsky
– Beautifully played, Jane!

@jasdel
– You nailed it! Excellent playing!
