Below is the lesson for “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen.
Helpful Tips
This fingerstyle arrangement covers the entire song! Get ready, as you’re about to embark on an epic ukulele journey through one of rocks’ most beloved songs. Evan performed this tune with a capo, but you do not have to use one unless you want to, in that case I’d recommend this one. The lessons are taught without one, as I realize not everyone has one or wishes to use it.
Speaking of the lesson, as this is a long song, I’ve split it up into three video tutorials. These tutorials will coincide with the tablature for “Andrew’s Version”. In my version, I simplified what Evan played while retaining the feel of his original performance. A note for note transcription of his performance is also included.
The best advice I can offer for this song is to approach it by learning one section at a time. It is a difficult song to learn and some sections will be more challenging than others. But, it’s so much fun to play! And when you get it down, you’ll realize that it was worth the effort.
