Practice playing two notes at once in this etude inspired by Bill Wither’s hit song, “Lean On Me.” A double stop refers to playing two notes simultaneously. It’s similar to a chord, but contains only two notes instead of three.

In this etude, we’ll perform plucked double stops, but we’ll also bend the rules slightly by strumming two fretted notes alongside two open strings. This is best demonstrated in measure 10:
