Below is the lesson for “Ukulele Boogie” by Rock Class 101
Helpful Tips
“Ukulele Boogie” is an upbeat, bluesy tune that utilizes the entire neck for melodic runs. I’ve been a fan of guitar boogies for the longest time and love the feel-good vibe of these tunes. Hence, they were the inspiration behind composing this piece.
That said, this is a challenging arrangement. It features a swung eighth-note feel throughout, along with many double stop jumps. To make things easier to learn, the piece has been divided into four themes. As always, work on one section at a time rather than trying to tackle the entire tune at once.
