This arrangement for “Everlong” is broken into a few sections: Riff (intro/outro), Verse, Pre-Chorus, and Chorus. I mainly took inspiration from the acoustic version played by Dave Grohl, thus I would recommend giving it a listen before you begin learning this song.

“Take the ‘A’ Train” – Duke Ellington
“Take the ‘A’ Train” is a jazz standard. I loved it from the first moment I played it in the ‘Real Book’ in music college. This arrangement has a laid back groove/feel. It’s a great ‘first’ jazz piece to learn.
“Love” – Matt White
The most iconic part of this song is the arpeggio keyboard lick and I brought it to this arrangement in 80’s tapping style!
“Brown Eyed Girl” – Van Morrison
I had a lot of fun arranging this tune! The backbeat (slaps) absolutely make the arrangement stand out.
“Jingle Bell Rock” – Christmas
Probably one of my favorite Holiday tunes, this song adapted well to the ukulele. My arrangement weighs heavy on Brian Setzer’s version.
“Let It Go” – Frozen (Demi Lovato)
When this movie came out, this song blew up and was easily the most requested song to teach from my students.
“O’ Christmas Tree” – Christmas
A classic Christmas song, “O’ Christmas Tree” features two melodies. The first is relatively simple and straight-forward, but the second can be quite tricky.
