Helpful Tips

For this etude, we will be playing some unique chords to help break away from the generic sounding “G, C, F” strumming tunes. This piece contains 3 melodies; A, B, and C. Each melody is 4 bars in length and uses the same rhythm. Our strum patter is as follows:

Down, Down, Up, Down, Up

The chord changes in the B melody are a little tricky, especially if played at the performance tempo. In the lesson video, I will cover a few suggestions to help you with these transitions and tips to increase your speed.
