Lifting fingers to change chord, makes sound

Maybe I’m pressing down too hard or not changing chords smoothly / quick enough. But I’ve noticed there are some songs (in particular a version of the Jurassic Park theme song, actually the Ten Thumbs production version. sorry rockclass101!, just found that version first), and I noticed sometimes when I need to change chords, when I lift my finders off of the strings, it makes a sound that kind of muddies up the song, as it kind of sounds like I’ve played another note when there shouldn’t be any.

Any advice or tips or how to minimize this or why this might be happening?
