The Eventide TimeFactor is a dual delay pedal that gives you 9 different effects. It also features a looper and is true bypass. With the ability to tap tempos in, you can truly customize a delay setting to match specific guitar parts for songs. In regards to programming your own settings, the TimeFactor allows a user to save up to 100 presets.

Setting 1: Vintage Dual Delay

Dual Delay: One set at 1/4th and One set at a Dotted Eighth. Dylan uses this setting for picking chords and brightening up the tone.

Setting 2: Vintage Single Delay

A vintage single delay – Dylan uses this setting for soloing.

Setting 3: Multi-Tap Delay Swell

Dylan utilizes chord / note swells to add ambiance to a song.

The Bottom Line

This is a delay pedal that offers every combination or use of delay you could ever need! An industry leader in delay, it does lack in the looping department by only offering 12 seconds of recorded loop. Another hit it takes is the price – $400 new. Expect to pay $300 for a well-cared for example.
