Melody to Harmony – ML026

Melody to Harmony – Mini Lesson: 026

Helpful Tips

Learn a catchy fingerstyle song that shows you how a single-note melody becomes a chord melody! The A Melody is played three times: first as a single-note melody, then with double stops (two notes at once), and finally as a chord melody. Throughout each rendition, you’ll hear how the melody builds and develops as harmony is introduced.

From a playing standpoint, this song is ideal for intermediate players. It combines fingerpicking and strumming (with chunking), providing you with the opportunity to practice both playing styles.
