Lingering question is how to transition from F to G? When I lift fingers from F to go to G, I find I have no support at the front of the fret board and the uke wants to fall out of my left hand. Any suggestion? Thanks very much.

I’d suggest to try a leash. Or for starters a piece of string tied around headstock and body, costs you less than a fancy product. It frees up your left hand. But I’m just a beginner, so maybe someone else has a better tip.
There are no rules, only tools. Use ‘m if they help you. 🙂

I think the key could be maintaining the border of your index finger leaned on the neck while you are changing from one chord to the other.

I’ve attached a picture for you to see what i mean.

I lead with my ring finger, getting it super quickly anchored in position on the 3rd fret of the E string to keep a hold on it while I transition the other two fingers.

    Hi
I am a premium member and am trying to view the live lessons after they have been recorded (I am unable to join in the actual Live Lesson). I have tried looking in all the tabs (Courses, Concept Lessons, Songs etc) but am unable to find the Live Lessons Page without going into this Forum and clicking on the Live Lessons Link in the Live Lessons FAQ. Is there an simpler way?

Paul, there’s a Live Lessons Library link at the top of Free Lessons. Or you can bookmark this page and save it in your Favorites. I think if you start to type live lessons in the browser address bar, it’ll probably auto-fill the rest and take you right to the page next time.
