    3 lightbulb moments:
    1. Practice
    2. Practice
    3. Practice

If I don’t practice daily, even for 5 minutes, I feel that all the trouble of learning something was for naught 😂 That’s not completely true because after practicing just a little bit it comes back easily.

My biggest lightbulb moment was understanding the CAGED method. That made me understand the entire ukulele better.

My biggest lightbulb skill development was getting the arpeggiated strum down. That gave me a sound I like so much better in so many cases. Really nice.

I may have too many lightbulb moments to count. My experience with learning ukulele has been ALL lightbulbs and chaos–like Daniel Day-Lewis riding an angry Canadian moose through the lighting department of an Ikea.

But probs the biggest one was discovering the crazy good solo arrangements that exist for ukulele, like RC101’s, so much more to do than strumming basic chords.
