Hello from Winlock, WA

Hello everyone. Thanks for having me. I’m a new member. Starting with the FREE account but I’m sure I’ll be upgrading very soon. Love the lessons. I’ve been casually strumming for a few years and belong to a local group. Recently I’ve caught the bug to take my Uke to the next level. I learned to “chuck” and now I want to learn fingerpicking. That’s what brought me to this site. I have books on the subject but they all seem to begin a bit ahead of where I actually am….if you know what I mean. I just watched the video, and printed off the tab, for ‘Romance’. Wish me luck.

EDITED: Well, that didn’t take long. I’m now a paid member and heading straight for the finger picking lessons……

LOL! Goes to show how enticing the free lessons are (just enough to make you want more). Andrew’s marketing degree came in handy, I bet. 😉 I was drawn in fairly quickly, too.

The free lessons are a great idea. They showcase Andrew’s teaching style… and that was what drew me in. I could tell I would get a lot out of being here. I’ve been in the “class” for a day and already have answers to many of the questions I had regarding fingerpicking.
