Thanks for the Theory!

I am really enjoying the lessons and courses offered here. While I am more of an intermediate player I am going back through the basic course to glean the theory tidbits that are included (and to see if I have any bad habits). I love that you include theory. Many teachers don’t think it’s important for beginners to learn theory but I like to know the “why” behind what I am doing. I want to see the big picture. Andrew is good about including just enough….but not so much that it’s overwhelming.

The husband and I just had a nice conversation regarding C7. Music…bringing families together.

Glad to hear you enjoy it! I’m a theory nut, I too find it fascinating. I think I’m releasing The Walking Dead theme as this week’s lesson. It’s only 3 chords, but the theory behind the progression is very interesting and the lesson will touch on it 🙂
