What a wife – What a ukulele

I had mentioned above some thoughts about musical instruments breaking in over time.
I should also have mentioned that the physical properties of the instrument may only be part of the equation.
Specifically, I’m thinking that, perhaps just an importantly, the person playing the instrument also goes through a process as well. We all have our own playing style that we are comfortable with, but with a new, in this case, ukulele it may require us to alter our style a bit to get the result we want.
I have noticed that the musical result I’m getting now is different from what is was initially. Could it be the uke breaking in? Could it be me breaking in? Or maybe a combination of the two…
Thoughts?

With my Kanile’a especially I think it actually tends to open up some during a 1 hour practice session.
