Thanks to you I am learning fingerpicking and tabs. I feel that that is my highest expression of playing the uke and where I get the most enjoyment. That said, in groups, almost everyone is jamming on chords and strumming – my picking sounds discordant – it stands out . . . do you think it is inappropriate to fingerpick the tunes in groups?
