Helpful Tips

A haunting piano piece encapsulated perfectly on the ukulele. This arrangement covers an excerpt from the original composition. What’s interesting about this excerpt is that it’s relatively simple from a harmony perspective. The entire piece is simply two chords that alternate each beat: A minor to F major.

With that said, there are a couple tricky aspects in this arrangement. The first of which is a challenging stretch chord found in measure six. The second is found in measure eight. This measure uses the plucked method to produce artificial harmonics. If this is a new technique for you, check out our Harmonics Course to learn how to do it.
