“She Talks To Angels” – The Black Crowes

Below is the lesson for “She Talks To Angels” by The Black Crowes.

Helpful Tips

“She Talks To Angels” features an iconic guitar riff with catchy rhythmic strumming. Throughout the arrangement, there is a repetitive strum pattern between the A and Asus4 chords. This pattern happens virtually between every part in the intro (riff) and verses. In other words, you will be alternating between playing the A chord strum pattern and the melody parts of the intro/verses. While the song is repetitive in its form, what makes it challenging is all the variations that occur. To overcome this obstacle, I have broken down each section into multiple parts in part 2 of the video lesson. Try and memorize one part at a time before moving on. In the end, this song is a lot of fun to play and adapted well to the ukulele. While the 90’s may have killed the hair bands, it left us with great songs from awesome rock bands like The Black Crowes!
