“Ukulele Duet” a.k.a. “Autumn’s Dance” – Rock Class 101

Below is the ukulele duet lesson for “Autumn’s Dance”.

Helpful Tips

This song uses a combination of basic open chords played with a back beat strum pattern and a melody that incorporates a few techniques. For the Rhythm part of the song, focus on mastering the strum/slap pattern over one chord first. Once you have mastered the strum pattern, learn the chord shapes separately. Isolating the parts will make combining them easier. For the melody, learn the hammer-ons, pull offs, and slides first. Since this melody uses a lot of space, it may help to count as you go along. For a fun challenge, try playing the melody and chords at the same time!
