    Hi!
I have a question to “adding a backbeat”. I don’t want to learn it wrong.
I am not really sure where to hit the backbeat. Is it on the wood of the uke below the sound hole with the nails of the four fingers?
Or do you hit on respectively between the strings?
    Thank you for your help.
    Best regards, Monika

Hi Monika, which one are you working on? The slap/pluck version taught in this lesson, or the one that is used with strumming technique?

This video shows the difference between the two.

For the slap/pluck, you will come straight down and hit the strings and body of the uke. For the strumming chunk, you’ll just hit the strings.
