    Hi Guys,

I have recently retired and now have some time to do all sorts of things.
This is my first time at having a go at playing the Ukulele.
It will be interesting as in the past I have broken a few fingers on my left hand and they tend to play up a bit so to use the correct fingers to make the chords will be very difficult and I may have to use whatever fingers I can.
I assume as long as it sounds right it will be ok.

    Old guy.

Welcome, Old Guy! Glad you found us. If you ever need help with the lessons, please don’t hesitate to ask 🙂

    Thank you.
I am not sure that the Ukulele is for me but I will give it a go.

I to have a broken finger which today would have been fixed properly and clearly was not at the time.. Let’s just say most people can’t look at it without crying 🙂

You’ll find with the Uke there are lots of ways to play the same thing i.e Different fingers for plucking, different ways of holding the Uke and constructing chords.

What I love about the Uke is the simplicty of it. You can literally construct a beautiful melody with one finger.

    Enjoy the journey 🙂

    Hi Surferjay,
Thank you for getting back to me.
It is nice to know there is someone on the forum that could help if needed.

Have you been playing the Ukulele long ?

Just seen this (apologies). I’m coming upto 2 years in November 😍
