Bar chord vibrato help

Andrew, would you have any tips for me on vibrato? I’ve worked through the vibrato lesson but I can’t seem to get the movement on bar chords. I can’t be relaxed enough to do the movement but strong enough to hold the bar down all at the same time. Bad video example. Thanks!

Lisa, the movement needs to come from the finger, not the arm. So if you watch the video, you can see how much play your arm has. This should be focused in the finger instead.

Hmmm. But my finger doesn’t move when I’m all locked down on a bar chord with another finger anchored on another fret. I think I’m way too tight. Will try to get that finger moving. Thanks Andrew!
