Does anyone have any tips for tuning after changing the strings for the first time?

I have a Kala Concert Ukulele. I recently tried to change the strings to a new set of Aquila New Nylgut high G strings. I’ve used a super tight snark tuner periodically to check it’s in tune and used a second tuning app. Playing the ukulele it just sounds terrible. The chords sound way off at the top of the fretboard. Is there anything I can do to trouble shoot? I’ve made sure the strings are in the right position with the corresponding colors on the packaging.

    Best,
    Megan

Hi Megan, it may take about a week for the strings to settle and for the tuning to stabilize. Keep re-tuning whenever you notice the pitch starting to drift.
