@leb397, I was wondering if you were going to chime in but this time of year is crazy for most people. Well, it’s kinda crazy for me and I work full-time but still somehow have way too much time on my hands. 😂

Playing in front of other people can be so terrifying and I’ve had some bad experiences that make it even harder, but I’m still working on it. I still get the purest joy and escape when playing on my own, but RC101 has been one of the most encouraging and safe spaces for performing for me too. 😊

@robinboyd, @surferjay you nailed that explanation! Obviously, that’s what I meant, of course. 😉😅

Thanks everyone. Nice explanations. I’ve learned many songs. I have yet to see how these melodies will help me. I’m sure it will become apparent once I’m proficient with the scales.
