Favorite Songs on RockClass 101

Hi There,

I am interested in learning some new songs or possibly some new music genre to play my ukulele in and was wondering if there are any songs or genre that you think could provide a good place for me to have fun and improve my skills.

I’ve been ukulele for about 1 year and know about 2-3 basic finger picking styles, but am still looking to broaden my range and learn more crowd pleasing songs I could play for an audience.

Hi Brian. Have your sifted through to find what you like?

Cornbread and Butterbeans is a unique approach and I found it tons of fun. You can learn clawhammer for this one. The clawhammer course here is great.

I love the Etudes as a general rule. Lots of pretty stuff. My favorites are probably 17 and my super mellow adaptation of 18.

There are some interesting blues tunes. A couple sit in the concept lesson section. Don’t forget to look there.
