Finger picking style.

Hi. Every lesson that is taught has it’s own finger picking style. Example- I have a little dreidel strums downward and picks a note upward. However, I find it easier to strum down and pick an individual note downward again with the thumb and repeat.
Should I be copying the original lesson to learn a new technique or continue what is comfortable to me?

Great question! I’d actually recommend to practice both, but feel free to use the way that is most comfortable and efficient for you.
