    Hi,
I’ve been playing the ukulele for a few years but general laziness and lack of motivation has caused me to stand still. I checked out many ukulele lessons sites and finally settled on Rock Class 101. I like the way Andrew teaches – gentle but with terrific encouragement and showing by his superb playing how tunes can be played at the highest level. There’s such a huge range of songs from different genres at all levels so no one can feel excluded. The courses are very detailed and explanatory with the enormous advantages of being able to change the speed and loop measures. This is an invaluable asset for a slow, and I mean really slow, learner like me!
So, here’s a ukulele site that gives me much inspiration and the added opportunity of getting feedback from other users as well as teachers on posted videos of one’s playing. This is extremely helpful.
It feels good to be a part of a community knowing that any problems or issues with playing or one’s gear can be helped within the forums.
I have three ukuleles – my Kala travel soprano which is great for travelling; a Flight concert which I’m abusing in the attached video, and a Noah tenor which has low G tuning.
I’m looking forward to the beginning of this journey and vastly improving my playing.
Best wishes and happy playing to all.
    martin.
