Softer strings and a greater distance between strings will allow me to venture into finger picking. I sampled a few arrangements (love the sound) in low G and although everything is 4 steps down on the baritone uke my daughter bought me, it works. I am looking forward to any future arrangements for baritone or low G tuning. (It would be great if there was a blues piece in low G.)

Welcome Bob! You’re in the right place to learn finger picking. The team had been releasing a lot of low G songs this year. I love low G too.

Check out our monthly challenge. That’s where we mostly hang out. ☺ Fun songs there every month.

Welcome, Bob! That’s a great idea for a low g blues tune! I’ll keep it in mind 🙂
