Hi folks, my name is Jim and I am a new subscriber to Rock Class 101. I’ve played various stringed instruments since my Junior High School days and I’m 63 now. I took classical guitar lessons from a local instructor when I was in my late teens, but as will often happen at that stage of life, I thought I had too many other things going on to continue with the lessons. In my later years, I have regretted that decision often. I’ve recently developed a love for finger style and chord melody ukulele. Honestly my hands are pretty small for classical guitar, and the uke makes it so much easier without sacrificing too much of the beauty of the music. I found some sample material on youtube from the site and was so impressed that I subscribed. I hope to learn a lot here.
