    Hi,

I’m a whistler. I have learned several instruments over the years to use as accompaniment (as well as sever years of classical violin and flute lessons). But harp and even autoharp just don’t travel that easily and I really didn’t like mandolin as accompaniment so I decided to try ukulele and figured I’d use fingerstyle. However, although I’ve used uke for accompaniment a bit, I’ve gotten hooked by solo playing. I’m really enjoying clawhammer and some of the classical and modern pieces I’ve been learning, but would like to take it to a higher level. I have a Fluke Flea and Tenor and a Kala Baritone. I’m really enjoying the lessons on this site.

    Hi Linda,

    Welcome!

You weren’t in the Terminator movies, were you?

🙂 I get asked that a lot. Definitely not. But I was in a movie about whistling.

For some reason, I read that at “My Neighbour Totoro.” Oops!
