    Hi forum,

I´m wondering if anybody with more musical understanding than me (probably most of you since I have nearly non at all) could (and would) help me find a picking pattern for “The Stranger Song” by Leonard Cohen.

All I hear is that it is very fast 🙂
Even a tip on how to go about that kind of topic would be helpful.

Thanks in advance! (If that doesnt work I´ll just put it on the song request list and hope for the best 🙂 )

I imagine you could sort of approximate the sound by plucking GAEC on a low G uke. I can’t get it fast enough, though. You might be able to use a slow up strum instead of plucking each individual string. It’s tricky, though, and I don’t have a good answer.

    Thanks for the reply Robin,

it seems to be tougher than I thought (hoped). I tried your suggestions but couldn´t get a satisfiable sound. (Perhaps a triplet strum would work if executed properly).

    Someday…
