Hello! I’m Jackie and I’m from New Orleans. Bought a cheap soprano uke from amazon last summer and set a goal to play it for at least a day for 30 days and see what I thought (always wanted to play an instrument, this was the cheapest and smallest in case I bailed). Well after many calluses in those first 30 days, I stuck to my goal and actually ended up playing more than an hour a day, and really advanced a lot. A couple of months ago I bought a nice concert uke that I try to play at least 15-30 min a day still, but still haven’t really played more than the generic 4 chord songs. Been very interested in finger picking lately and rc101 on YouTube is perfect. Looking forward to advancing!
