I’ve been learning Jazz piano for about 10 years so far. I majored in French Horn at the
niversity though. I’m studying law for a living now, and I’m continuing to learning music as my lifework.

I really love music and sounds of various instruments.
I’ve always wanted to play stringed instruments. ๐Ÿ˜€
My favorite guitarists are Kevin Eubanks, Pat Metheny and John Mayer.

Somehow I bought an ukulele last Nov and started learning ukulele by myself. I watched a lot of tutorials on the web, and Rock Class 101 is really fantastic!

Ukulele is my first stringed instrument. It’s hard to me but so fun. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m looking forward to studying music here with you all.

    Thank you for your time.

Welcome Machie! I loved your backbeat progress video! I even shared it on our Facebook page. One of our other members, Carmelo, is doing a similar project where he is recording a 100 day challenge of himself working on one of Jake Shimabukuro’s songs. You can follow his journey here ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Machie,

Where in Japan are you from? I spent a total of 7 years in Japan, with my longest stay in Fukushima-ken, which lasted 4 years.
