Hi, It’s good to see so many people from so many places enrolled in this course. And a good smattering of Aussies too.
I’m enjoying Andrew’s approach to teaching very much. I have to remind myself every half hour or so to stand up, straighten up and walk around a bit or I’d be sitting here all day watching, practising and (hopefully) improving.
Hi from Sydney, @platypusjen
I know that problem very well… I have sat and practiced for so long some days that various bits and pieces seize up. There is much groaning when getting moving again.
But so much enjoyment goes into causing that specific pain level 🤣🤣🤣
We have the opposite problem when practicing. I use my uke practice as a way to distract myself from work, so rather than practicing for an hour at a time, I practice for 5 minutes at a time, but I do it 12 times a day.
miztaken, exactly. The numb-bum syndrome is alive and well here.
Robin Boyd, I do wish I could take the uke to work. Not sure my work-mates would agree- yet.
Andrew, thanks for the welcome and for all you do.
