Holding a soprano pineapple uke

Hey just a quick question. I have a soprano pineapple ukulele, and I am struggling with holding it because the body shape is so different from what I am used to. Any tips?

Hi Cloud Cactus. My wife has one. I don’t like to play it, partly because it is so hard to hold. There is no particular trick to it, but it gets easier with practice.

Are you trying to hold it while standing up or balancing it on your knee? Have you tried a strap?

Usually I play sitting down, but I have played both ways. I guess I forgot that straps were a thing lol. I’m going to have to get one. Thanks!
