    Dear Andrew

All your lessons are very helpful.

I found your instruction “The fourth string, G, should be tuned up a whole step to A.”
I am not sure how to do it.

can I do it via turning peg on G string until it sounds A?
Or should I change G string to A string on 4th line?

Thanks for your instruction in advance.

The first one. Tune the string up until it says A on your tuner 🙂

    Hi Andrew,

I have a follow-up question on that as I also would need to tune the G string to an A for another song – so putting higher tension on it.
My question: DOES THAT DAMAGE MY STRINGS when tuning back an force between G and A?
I would need to do it on my brand-new expensive ANueNue Tenor AMM3 with an also quite expensive Low G Clear Water string – with the additional problem that the Water strings don’t seem to be buyable anywhere in the EU and with Brexit it got really expensive to order in UK since July 1st.

I tuned the low G to A for just some minutes to try it out and it sounds really amazing, but I do not dare keep it tuned.

    Thanks for any advice.
    Andrea

It won’t cause any stress on the uke. No need to worry 🙂
