    Hi everyone

My name is mark10 and I’m from the East Coast. Every few years something “unlocks” for me in terms of the fretboard and music-theory. I am self-taught and it took me 15 years to learn what probably should have taken 2 years to learn.

I recently got more serious about ukulele and made an investment in K-brand ukuleles to find the one that was best for me. It turns out the best ukulele for me is all of them.

I signed up for this website which I also see as an investment because of the community and plateaus that I can hit. The community helps me along. I am also hoping to find some 1-1 instruction with video chat sessions.

The songs I have had the most fun learning here are:
-A Fifth of Beethoven — mostly gave up for now. Really hard.
-In My Life — I like it

I also really like collecting these beautiful instruments, their lore, and how they relate to American history.

Thanks for having me and I hope to learn a lot here.
