I grew up and live in metro Detroit, I love Motown (go to the museum if you have the chance!), so I couldn’t NOT try to learn this song. The slap/rhythm technique is completely new to me but I’m working on it. In the meantime, here’s a bit of the final section…it’s always been my favorite part of the song and it’s really fun to play the way you’ve transcribed it. Hopefully there will be a ‘revisited’ video of this someday, but in the meantime, thanks much for adding it to the lessons!
