Anna, I live in Chicago and have been learning the uke for a bit over 3 years. When I visited Kauai for the first time, I stopped into a music store, and fell in love with the uke. I bought a KALA KA-SSTU Soprano Travel Uke which I played consistently until I visited the Big Island of Hawaii and left with a Kamaka Concert – HF2 with a low G, which has a warm resonance, and full tones. I’ve took lessons via Skype for almost 3 years from a wonderful teacher on the Big Island, now I’m learning from a great teacher in Columbia. Have been a follower and premium subscriber of Andrew’s for a while, I appreciate his incredible skill, and wonderful teaching gift.
