    I’m in the process of learning Etude #3. In Bar 2 the notation is C(1) and C (2). Im not understanding how those notes are a C. Could someone explain that please and isnt that actually a D? I’m a little confused. Thanks

    Technically, C (1) is a C add 9 (D note).

    C (2) is a triad, as the 7th fret is the 3rd in the chord, E.
