Noooo, it seems early for Christmas music, but it really isn’t at all. 😂😭

    My top three favorites are:

    1. Santa, Baby
    2. Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer
    3. 85% of Christmas songs they play in grocery stores

Oh wait, those are actually the songs that instantly fill me with rage when I hear them, got my lists mixed up. 😅😉😒

    My real list is:

    1. Silent Night
    2. O Holy Night
    3. Carol of the Bells

I guess I am kind of a Scrooge when it comes to Christmas music, sorry for that. Oh well. 😂

    Pretty funny TBB…
Enjoy some of the more modern songs but I’ll stick with a few of traditional hymns.
    Wassail song
    O holy night
    O little town Bethlehem
    Come all ye faithful
    Away in the manger
    It came upon midnight clear
    What child is this
Angels we have headed on high
    I know it’s more than 3 ☺️

Wouldn’t mine few children tunes to play with them.
    Good discussion Louisa

@leb397, that’s a really good list! Angels We Have Heard On High would sound lovely on uke. I think Rock Class 101 did an arr of that one maybe?

I do also like a few modern Christmas songs, like Jingle Bell Rock, but I think I just associate a lot of those with annoying Christmas ads and things. 😅 Some are fun though.

A very alternative Christmas song could be “March of the Toreadors,” because nothing says Christmas like bullfighting and homicidal Chuck E. Cheese monsters. 😂

Not sure if it counts as a Xmas song but I would love to learn and play Last Christmas by Wham! sometime.

Speaking of it, does anyone know where to find this month’s live lesson recording? I don’t think @andrew has posted it yet. Does anyone know ?

Hi Nelson, I held off on releasing it last week since it opened up with Matt playing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” which was the lesson we released on Friday. It’ll be up this week, probably Wednesday.

We have a lesson on “Last Christmas.” It came out last year 🙂

    @The_Bumble_Bard
    – We’ve done that one too.

@Andrew, sweet! Thank you! I thought I remembered seeing that here. I think it stuck in my mind because Katie’s singing was so beautiful in that lesson. 😊

I also immediately figured out a simple arr. of that one stealing Matt’s riff (?) from Deck the Halls because it sounded so amazing. 😅
