Numbered fretboard

I was very interested in Matt’s uke with the numbers on the fretboard but after a Google search could not find any ukes ( i was assuming it was a Kanilea) with said fretboard. Did you use stickers or did it come that way and what model was it?

I think it is a custom uke – perfect for his lessons because it is easy for the viewers to see his finger placements.

It’s a custom Kanilea. I remember watching one of his videos on Ukulele Underground where he talked about getting it made. The numbered frets are to make it easier for him to teach.

Great point about maintaining good form!
It took me ages to look at the side dots, and I still struggle at times – because they sit below my glasses level and are blurry 🤣🤣🤣
