Ode to Joy – fingerstyle Vs. triplet strumming

Last month, I learned Ode to Joy with the two different arrangements taught at RockClass101, and thought it would be interesting to share them together 🙂

Sounds great! For the latter, try to have less motion of the strum coming from the wrist. You want the attack to come from the flick of the index instead 🙂

Hi Qiuyan. Thanks for sharing! It’s really interesting to hear the two versions side by side. Well done on both! I’ve played the first version. I am surprised that I really like the triplet picking version better when comparing the two. It has an interesting ring to it.
