Proper Right Hand Form

Hi All,

I am just working my way through the beginner’s course And am on the section for Proper Right Hand Form, strumming. As I have been a strummer for a number of years, I use my index finger exclusively to strum, nail down flesh up. I have tried many times to use my thumb and it just goes all over the place.

My question is this, is my method going to hinder me as I progress through the course?

Try the claw shape which is taught in the course 🙂 It’s always good to know more than one approach.

@Andrew I do use the claw shape but use my index finger rather than my thumb, I will keep trying with the thumb 😉
