In the Chorus part, both the down and up beats of beat 2 and 4 are backbeat, and both are on all 4 strings. Shall I still use the way I add backbeat in Intro/Verse part (make right hand as a claw and slap over the strings) but slap twice? Or shall I do what Andrew did in the tutorial video by putting left hand middle and ring fingers over the strings to mute the strings and do strumming? Thanks!

Btw, I found this song much more difficult than I expected for a Level 1 song. In fact, I found it more difficult than some of the Level 2 songs I’ve learned… (I’m still practicing Verse part, but I’ve watched the entire tutorial video hence the question above.)

The latter is correct: strummed mute.

To be honest, “I’m Yours” should be placed in a higher level. It was one of the first songs I arranged for the site and was placed there before I had a clearer understanding of how the 5 difficulty levels would unfold. But I do want to stress that the majority of songs in each level are suitable for the suggested level.
