    When I play the Strum sections of Rising Sun I am not getting much volume for chords at frets 9 -12. More importantly it doesn’t sound nearly as good as Mat. I try to focus on striking the 1st string which works a little but when trying to catch all strings not so good. Is there a bit more technique needed at those frets?

    Hmm… it’s hard to say without hearing/seeing what’s happening. Can you upload a video playing this section and the other section which rings louder?
