Had a wonderful experience last week going down to Pepe Romero Jr.’s guitar and ukulele workshop. Spent a couple hours trying his cedar topped tenors. Shortly after getting there his legendary father and uncle Celin showed up and played with another flamenco guitarist there. They were all super warm and nice. Came home with a Romero Creations grand tenor, western red cedar top and Indian rosewood body. Super warm and very resonant especially on the low end. Matt definitely needs to get a uke with rosewood body – the genus of rosewood is Dalbergia!
