Working on Blackbird.. .(novice still). When strumming just strings 4+3 or 4+3+2…. Can someone talk about the technique you use to avoid strumming the one(s) we’re not supposed to hit. (or point me to an existing note/lesson). I had gone through Matt’s strumming lessons which I’m getting. But it’s hard for me to just use my index and get good clear tone on the 2 or 3 strings without crashing headlong into the remainder. Or I back off and the last string is very thin. I feel I’m missing something technique-wise.

Any help is very much appreciated, ..Greg
