Tone Practice

Hey all – just joined this community after being really impressed with the Taimane Moon and Moonlight Sonata lessons.

One thing I notice that takes the performer’s renditions to the next level is his amazing clear, warm, and resonant tone when fingerpicking. None of the notes sound plucky or stiff and everything feels very balanced and under control. I am wondering if anyone has practice suggestions (or if there are lessons on this site I haven’t found) to work specifically on tone when fingerpicking? Thanks!
