I’m starting to think of next year’s resolution already so I thought I’d check in on last year.

Keep my playlist alive: fail. I have a few songs but not all. Gotta work on that. It’s doable by the end of the year.

Add 8 new songs: not at clean playlist level, but I’ve learned 8

Including at least one original: nailed this one. I’ve got seven originals, five?this year, a few clean(ish)

Add dynamics: a bit, doing okay I think. It’s a process.

One level 3: nope, but I don’t feel the need anymore. I want to focus on easier songs, and play them better.

But I’ve had fun, and that’s the most important thing!

    Anyone else?

Keep playlist alive: total failure….good going for 2 months then……

Level 3 songs: way back on the burners

creating arrangements of songs that I like: 100% successful on first staged. Much work to improve complexity but totally limited by my musical knowledge.

Well, I didn’t make any resolutions but I have managed to keep a number of songs memorised. I’ve actually surprised myself lately. Here is the list I can play without referring to tabs.

    1. Moon
    2. Purple rain (including lyrics)
    3. Sakura Sakura (not RC101 version)
    3. GoT Theme (not RC101 version)
    4. Zelda’s Lullaby
    5. Nausicaa Requiem (half arranged by me)
    6. Path of the Wind
    7. Blackbird (on guitalele, including lyrics)
    8. Jenny of Oldstones (on guitalele)
    9. Creep (including lyrics)
    10. Sleepwalk
    11. Stranger things theme
